ABOUT GEOFFREY HEYDT

Geoffrey Heydt was born and raised in the USA. He attended University of New Hampshire and received an undergraduate degree in Communications and Business in 1988.

Upon graduation, Mr. Heydt began his career in the manufacturing business setting up a clothing company in the US and manufacturing in Thailand. He eventually left the clothing business and moved to London, England where he was hired by the American PR company, Burson-Marsteller, and was soon sent to Thailand to work in their Thailand offices.

At Burson-Marsteller, Mr. Heydt was primarily responsible for their regional client Caltex Oil and their US$5 million sponsorship of the 1998 Asian games along with other sports and entertainment related client business. After completing this project he was quickly hired by International Management Group (IMG) and sent back to the US to work in their prestigious Tennis division.

While with IMG, Mr. Heydt was responsible for developing the corporate sponsorship base of professional sporting events and aiding agents in procuring endorsement deals for IMG clients. He eventually left IMG and relocated back to Asia in 2003 where he set up ASEA (Asia Sports and Entertainment Associates) who now represents many of the top Asian entertainment personalities as well as former and present ATP/WTA tour tennis players.

Mr. Heydt recently partnered with Angel & Bear Productions to develop Thailand’s only full service Sports and Entertainment agency. He currently resides in Bangkok, Thailand and continues to represent numerous Asian and US celebrities in the fields of sport, film, and television.
